Underage Drivers

Yellohire are able to rent vehicles to drivers between the ages of 21 - 25 from the majority of locations. However this will invariably attract an additional daily charge for under age insurance. There are also additional requirements & restrictions which are as follows:

Full UK licence to have been held for at least 24 months

No points whatsoever on the licence

No bans or convictions ever

The largest car that is available will be a 1.4 litre for under age drivers

The largest van that will be available will be a LWB Transit or similar

Luton box vans & minibuses are NOT available to under age drivers from most locations

The additional insurance cost is generally £20.00 per day but this can vary & in a few instances may not be required at all so please check with us first.
